A team will consist of three people. The driver must be licensed and have truck insured.

Contest will be limited to the first fifteen teams that enter the day of the contest.

Trophies will be awarded to the top team in all divisions.

The pickup must be a standard 1/2 or 34 ton and must be conventional. No sideboards, roll bars, or other devices may be used.

The straw must be loaded on the truck and transported through a given obstacle course and unloaded to a stack in a designated area.

A fifteen second penalty will be awarded for each broken bale.

All members must ride in the cab of the truck through the entire course with the doors closed.

The contest will be a timed event with a maximum of ten minutes.

Missing or knocking over traffic cones will result in a fifteen second penalty.

All bales falling from the truck must be reloaded unless the bale is broken. Broken bales will be left lying but busted bales will be picked up and removed from the contest area by the team after the time is stopped.

Time will start at the end of the second judge's whistle and will stop after the straw has been unloaded and stacked at a designated location and all team members are in the cab of the truck with the doors closed. A penalty can be assessed for improper stacking.
- If under age eighteen, parents must sign Hold Harmless Agreement. These forms are available in the fair office.
