Children up to the age of five riding in colorful miniature cars with their parents as Driving Coaches. Children learn traffic safety, negotiating turns, backing up and stopping on our specially designed course complete with special signs. Entry Fee: $10
Tournament Play: Monday-Wednesday 4-9 PM; Saturday at Noon Championships: Sunday at 3 PM
Rules
- All players must be 18 years of age or older.
- A person may enter as many times as they like until they win a bracket.
- All teams will use the boards and bags provided by the Medina County Fair.
- You must throw the bags under hand and from the pitcher's box next to the boards.
- Bags may not bounce onto the boards.
- First team to reach a score of 21 wins. In the event of a tie each team will throw until the tie is broken.
- Medina County Fair members make all final decisions on rules and scoring.
- Misconduct and foul language will not be tolerated. This behavoir will cause that team to forfeit their bracket spot.

| Straw Loading Contest Sunday, August 3 11:00am | |

Free Grandstand seating.
Watch teams compete in a straw loading contest! Contestants will have to load straw in the back of a pick up truck, make their way through an obstacle course, and then unload and stack the bales. Trophies will be awarded. |

Elephant Encounter is an educational and entertaining experience that will capture the attention of children and adults as you are guided through an up close and personal encounter with the world's largest land animals. Their non-stop platful antics make these exotic creatures a proven crowd pleaser. Come and enjoy the elephants up close, including a complete 20 minute center ring circus act. | An extremely entertaining and excitingly educational exotic animal encounter featuring numerous rare and unusual animals from around the world. Fiddle Contest

Sat. Aug 2nd; 1:30PM-3:30PM, Pavillion
No Entry Fee. Sign in Starts at Noon.
Four Categories: Beginner (up to age 12); Jr (ages 13-17); Sr (55+) and Open (any age)
All must be amateur fiddlers, no trick playing, must play 3 tunes: hoedown, waltz, and tune of choice (no show tunes). Five minute time limit, can play with guitar accompaniment.
PRIZES: $75-1st; $50-2nd; $35-3rd

| Sancho is a Texas Longhorn Steer that you will have the opportunity to get your picture with. Sancho is 11 years old and weighs over 1 ton. His horns span tip to tip is over 6 feet. The Kiddie Tractor Pull is a chance for kids ages 3-10 years of age to participate in a pedal tractor pull. The classes will be divided as follows:
1. 3-4 year olds
2. 5-6 year olds
3. 7-8 year olds
4. 9-10 year olds
5. Open Modified
All contestants must be present by the time of the pedal pull with a signed permission slip in hand. The required signature(parent of guardian) releases the Medina County Fair of financial responsibility due to an accident. Slips may be picked up at the Fair Office or at the time of registration.
